Professor Konstantina (Tina) Karabatsou

Joint Clinical Lead Greater Manchester

Professor Tina Karabatsou is Joint Clinical Lead for the North West Neurosurgery Network. She is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences, Salford Royal Hospital, where she has practised since 2007. She trained in neurosurgery in Greece and the UK and completed a specialist fellowship in Canada.

Tina holds an MAHSC Honorary Clinical Chair at The University of Manchester, recognising her contributions to research and clinical innovation. She leads the region’s neuro-oncology services and is research active, with numerous peer-reviewed publications in neurosurgery and neuro-oncology.
